NCC Education is pleased to announce a new partnership with London College of Business Studies (LCBS). This collaboration aims to expand educational opportunities and provide high-quality vocational qualifications to students.

Founded in 2006, LCBS, formerly known as AA Hamilton College, is an independent higher education institution based in Ilford, with branch campuses in Birmingham and Southampton. The college is dedicated to widening access to education in the UK, offering a range of programmes including BTEC Higher National Diploma in Business, Diploma in Education and Training, and Level 3 qualifications such as Functional Skills. Over 10,000 students have successfully achieved higher education qualifications through LCBS, benefiting from small class sizes and experienced tutors.

Afshan Naseem, IT Operations, at the London College of Business Studies stated, “Even though the College already works with awarding organisations such as Pearson and City and Guilds, in order for the College to continue to work towards its strategic objectives and mission of widening access and participation and increase as well as enhance the academic provision, it needs to continue to work with prominent Awarding Organisations that enable to offer diverse courses fulfilling the needs of the learners. Working with NCC would enable the College to offer vocationally relevant qualifications that would not only increase the employability of our prospective learners but also assist in adding value to the community in the shape of professional individuals.”

Through this partnership, LCBS will offer the NCC Education Level 4 Diploma in Computing. This course is designed to equip students with essential computing skills and knowledge, enhancing their employability and career prospects.

Helen Maxwell, UK Business Development Manager for NCC Education added, “I am thrilled about our partnership with the London College of Business Studies. The introduction of the NCC Education Level 4 Diploma in Computing, a Higher Technical Qualification (HTQ), will significantly enhance the employability of students. This qualification is designed to meet industry demands, providing learners with essential computing skills that are highly sought after in today’s job market.
