NCC Education are delighted to announce new progression routes to University of Chester, UK.

With more than 180 years of educational heritage, the University of Chester originated in 1839 and is the fifth oldest higher education establishment in England, with only the universities of Oxford, Cambridge, Durham and London outdating it.

A beautiful and world-famous British Heritage city, Chester welcomes over eight million tourists each year who flock to visit it’s splendid Roman walls and amphitheatre, cathedral, zoo and racecourses.

The university itself is home to 20,000 students from over 130 countries worldwide and offers excellent campus amenities, including libraries with 24/7 opening, over 2,000 PCs and Macs, a vibrant Student’s Union and excellent indoor and outdoor sport facilities.

Consistently ranked amongst the top universities in the UK for student satisfaction, University of Chester recently took first place for both International and Student Support in What Uni’s Student Choice Awards 2024. Moreover, Chester achieved top 3 rankings in the categories University of the Year, Career Prospects and Lecturers and Teaching Quality.

Upon completing the Level 3 International Foundation Diploma for Higher Education Studies (L3IFDHES), students are welcome to apply to relevant undergraduate programmes at the University of Chester across a wide range of subjects, including Business, Law, Computing, Mathematics, Sciences, Arts and Media, Education and Health and more*.

Head of Partnerships at NCC Education, Rebecca Bewley, says: “The University of Chester is one of England’s most historic universities and I am very pleased that the L3IFDHES is now formally recognised for undergraduate progression. This is a great opportunity for NCC students to further their academic career in the UK!”

University of Chester’s Director of International, Jonathan Pritchard, adds: “The University of Chester is pleased to recognise the Level 3 International Foundation Diploma for entry onto our relevant programmes based on the quality of education received at NCC Education.  This arrangement provides more access for NCC graduates to pursue degree opportunities in their chosen field and we look forward to welcoming students to Chester in the near future.”
